The Schtick

It’s a trendy chic club with a great bar – make that two bars- dance floor, a small restaurant and private party room. What’s also really great about Black Finn is that it’s a mere 5-10 minute walk from downtown and very close to many other bars and restaurants in the area if you want to split up your night.
Somewhere down the line, however, the crowd at Black Finn shifted and there are a severe number of 50+ males lingering around the bar (which can be slightly creepy)… Hey, if he wants to buy you a cocktail, bottoms up…!

Do's & Don'ts

DO host your own party if you love the idea that all your friends will be using your name to pass the line. Book your own VIP party at Black Finn where you’re friends beat the line and drinks are $2 – great for special occasions!

DON’T overstay your welcome. Black Finn tends to be the place to go for the younger 20-something’s. Don’t be the creepy guy (or girl) who has aged out of the bar scene.

Best for Your Buck

Happy Hour: Monday – Friday, 4-7 p.m., $6 Flatbread Pizza and appetizers. Half specialty martinis, Call Liquors’, Draft beers, House wines. PERFECT for watching Detroit sports games!

Get Your Jew On

Black Finn is the hub for the 21-23ish Jews. If you just got out of college, are new to the drinking scene and are super stoked about going out late night with your posse to the bar (which includes the standard 45 minute wait line in), put on your Jewish star and head on over. You won’t be able to order a drink without recognizing a fellow Jew next to you and saying shalom.
