Buddy’s Pizza

Centaur Bar

Centaur Bar is frequented as a pre-game spot for professional sports, and for it’s club-chic feel. Juxtaposition at its finest. They offer free bus service to all Red Wings home games, and drink specials for Lions games. On the first floor you find slate flooring, ultra-modern chairs, and beautiful natural lighting. The color-scheme of glass and shades of black radiates a smooth, sexy vibe. Follow us upstairs and you’ll find that the second floor is pretty similar, with the exception of the lounge. The lounge is covered in motel-style couches that hug around every bend of the room, and is coated in goofy carpeting…. which is perhaps why the lights are virtually off in the evening.

The Hamilton Room

Private. Exclusive. Members Only.

Welcome to The Hamilton Room. Or really… Welcome to the front door of The Hamilton Room. All men need a membership to get into this special club, and girls get in free after waiting in line.

Once inside, the club is underground. There is a large dance floor and bar, private seating areas that can be reserved for private parties, members or guests, and a back section complete with a second bar, lounge seating and several TV screens.

The general mix of people inside is very mixed. Age is not consistent and you can find people anywhere from 25-50 (the old folks both male and female), and racially heavily Chaldean.

New York Bagel Baking Co.

You’re helping mom prep for Sunday morning brunch by running out to pick up the bagels. Where might you go, you ask? New York Bagel makes a delicious lineup of bagels, always hot and always fresh. These are not the “pretend you’re a bagel, but really I’m a lump of dough” that you can find at Einstein’s or Bruegerr’s (both good, but not what your looking for when you want a good shmear and heap of tuna.) No, New York Bagel provides you with the ideal crisp crust perfect amount of breaded inside to make the perfect sandwich. Also enjoy their counter of fresh fish and lox, and array of shmears and spreads.

Ocean Prime

If you’re looking to class it up, you have reached your destination. This restaurant has incorporated natural elements to spur an eclectic, sexy vibe that’s ideal for special occasions—even if you’re a party of one. There are private dining rooms, a piano bar, and outdoor seating with a fireplace for those Michigan winter months (September through May).

What kind of clientele does Ocean Prime attract? Welcome to Cougar Town, fellas, where the meat is served dry and well done.

Zingerman’s Delicatessen

Chen Chow

Welcome to downtown Birmingham’s chic restaurant and bar. In the front you have a club like ambiance – complete with a full bar, tall tables and chairs, lounge chairs and at night you’ll even hear the DJ play your favorite radio mashups. However, in the back, separated by a partition, is the restaurant where you can seat an intimate couple or a large party. The atmosphere is romantic and trendy, the lights are color scheme is mostly black and white. Attire? You better check this past years runway collection before you head out, you wouldn’t want to be caught wearing last fall’s jacket and tie…
