Who

Applications are now being accepted for the Jeanette & Oscar Cook Jewish Occupational Intern (JOIN) program next summer. Interns work at Jewish nonprofit agencies in the fields of nonprofit business administration, marketing and communications, research and program planning, human services, women’s issues and advocacy and human resources.

What

The program offers eight-week paid summer internships to full-time Jewish undergraduate or graduate students who are residents of metropolitan Detroit. The internship program is funded by the Jeanette and Oscar Cook JOIN Endowment, Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit, Jewish Women’s Foundation, Tony Richman Internship Scholarship Fund, the Holocaust Memorial Center and Temple Israel.

Written applications for the JOIN program are being accepted and personal interviews will be held through January 31, 2013.
