Rabbi Leiby Burnham

Burnham's Basics of Judaism

Rabbi Leiby Burnham works with the Theodore and Jean Weiss Partners in Torah Program of Yeshiva Beth Yehudah. He recently moved here from New York City where he received his rabbinical training at the Sh'or Yoshuv Institute. Rabbi Burnham also studied at Yeshiva University's Wurzweiller School of Social Work where he obtained a Masters in Social Work. Rabbi Burnham spent five years working with Jewish at-risk youth through the T.O.V.A. program and Camp Extreme. Additionally, he taught learning disabled high school students for eight years at a private school in Far Rockaway. Rabbi Burnham's responsibilities include expanding the programming of Partners in Torah, as well as running Jewish educational programming at local college campuses.
