Abby Maroko
Health Fitness and Vitality Fanatic
Abby Maroko is a 20-year-old Junior at the University of Michigan, where she studies Psychology. She has grown up an avid and enthused athlete, playing basketball since the age of 8. She followed her passion for the sport through high school and into college, trying out for U of M's Women's Basketball team in November of 2010. Although she did not make it, she picked up a new sporting love, running. She completed her second running race--the first being a quarter-miler in elementary school-- the Detroit Free Press Marathon, in October, 2011. She plans to run more races and possibly enter the sphere of triathlon in the future. Aside from an admitted sports and fitness infatuation, Abby has always had a keen interest in nutrition, well-being, and all that encompasses health. Expect to see some deeper, psychological and philosophical takes on athletics, working out, and being healthy; but kept light as the fluffy egg white omelette you specially request at Sunny's. Also anticipate her blog to be sprinkled with some unrelated, simply spontaneous, and hopefully silly pieces as well. Intriguing, inspiring, impassioned, and most of all, informative blog. Your natural health and fitness Rx for the mind, body, and soul. Read on!
